This block addresses how climate change and natural disturbances shape forest dynamics and how uncertainty can be explicitly represented in models and planning. The work combines improved ecological understanding with model development to better capture processes, feedbacks, and variability—supporting more realistic projections of forest trajectories under changing environmental conditions.
